Steve Haase
Steve has 25 years of experience in risk management and insurance. He started his career in 1978 with the Factory Mutual System designing and implementing loss control and insurance programs for some of the largest companies in the world. In 1983 he joined H.D.A. Company and was one of the insurance professionals to provide risk management expertise to emerging technology companies. In 1997 he launched the first insurance product focused on "breach of security" exposures for companies doing business over the internet. This initiative eventually became INSUREtrust LLC.

Steve raised private equity to fund INSUREtrust and recruited a management team with the diverse specialities necessary to integrate the key company functions of risk management, insurance and network security. His primary responsibilities are to direct INSUREtrust into profitable strategic markets, develop and preserve key strategic alliances and oversee the overall operations of the company.

Steve has earned both B.A. and M.S. degrees in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. He also holds CPCU and ARM designations. He is a frequent speaker at industry events on e-business risk management.
