Instagram has been hacked.  The culprits are hijacking accounts of affected users to send out images of fruit.  When another Instagram user clicks the image, they are redirected to a bogus web site advertising coffee.

According to multiple reports, spammers are taking over accounts and sending out pictures of fruit that has text directing people to a Bit.ly hyperlink. According to PC Magazine, the photo and accompanying link takes users to a fake BBC page that promotes a weight-loss coffee.
