Date: Monday, September 16, 2013
Location: Atlanta Athletic Club, Duluth, GA (Host of the 2011 PGA Championship and the 2014 US Amateur)
Time: Shotgun start at 11:30am
It’s time to sign up for the golf tournament and space is limited! Any company that registers a second team gets an automatic free hole sponsorship. In addition to hosting a high quality charitable golf outing, we are planning an exceptional silent auction and awards/networking banquet.
GSU RMF Competitors: This will be played in a shamble format with each person playing their own ball after the tee shot is picked. Due to the difficulty of the course we recommend all players have a USGA handicap of 24 or less.
GSU RMF Supporters: This will be played in scramble format enabling each player to play from the best shot. We suggest this course and format for the less serious golfers.
NEW! We’ve got up to five more foursomes spots in the Scramble for second teams, at a large discount of $1200, for companies that have already registered for one regularly-priced foursome team.
There will be a silent auction and a drawing for valuable items. We will be offering a big screen TV and an iPad during the drawing.
Contests
There will be a number of golf contests including:
- NEW THIS YEAR – “Beat the Pro” Contest featuring a former GSU golfer.
- NEW THIS YEAR – Hole-In-One Contest sponsored by Beazley. $10,000 prize!
- Putting Contest
- Longest Drive
- Players Choice Par 3 (Hit your approach and then pick 1 of 6 holes to putt to. Wagers will be explained.)
- Closest to the Water (Win a ball retriever by hitting your ball the closest to the water on 18.)
